Hi guys, Nathan here at Sinz's. I just wanted to make this blog post since there's been a lot of changes this month to our website and some of these changes are very obvious. Throughout this post, i'll be talking about the changes that we've made and possible issues you might encounter in the process of upgrading or switching things around.
To start with the changes, lets talk about the biggest one by far, the design of the website on both desktop and mobile. We know that Shopify themes are poor when it comes to people on mobile. The percentage of our site visits are 70% at least on mobile while the other 30% on desktop. This high rate in visits caused us to want to find a better theme that has mobile devices in mind when making the theme. This did also change our layout to our site and gave us the opportunity to make our site look a little cleaner while also giving a better customer experience.
With this new theme, we have had some difficulties arise and we've been working to get those things fixed. Some examples would be our rewards page, wishlist menu, and some things not loading on our product pages. We've been working continuously with customer support with all these services to get the problems resolved. As of right now, our rewards page is down and there's no content there. We're working to get that up as well.
In addition to our theme changes, we also have done some switching up with some of the services we were using. We're currently not using Shopify shipping and instead started using the service Shippo to print out new order labels and packing slips. We also switched services for our rewards so the new icon and such for the rewards pop up has been changed and updated with all active points. If you are missing points that you previously did have, please contact our support at support@sinzs.net and we'll look into that for you and get that issue resolved.
There's been smaller changes such as reviews, address validation, new age verification pop up, redesign for the "This product contains nicotine" menu, customer support button, etc. If you find a page that doesn't seem to load or follow our theme well, please contact me directly at nathan@sinzs.net so I can get those things changed as soon as possible.
